Whitepaper ~ Rebuilding Trust, Equity, and Resilience: A Public Health Vision for the United States

American public health legacy demonstrates remarkable advancements along with ongoing
development. The United States has played an important role in global public health through its
creation of vaccination programs and successful tobacco control initiatives. Future public health
systems can be designed to be sustainable and inclusive while incorporating innovative
approaches and interdisciplinary research. My educational background combined with my
research interests in public health policy and education established my academic focus on
developing system-wide resilience and achieving data-driven equity across diverse communities.
